Installation Handbook
The AV Installation Handbook provides step-by-step instructions on best practices to meet your clients needs. This is the first time that such a comprehensive collection of Best Practices has ever been compiled in one handy reference, complete with full-color photographs. It is a perfect take-along out in the field or anywhere.

Module 1: Introduction to AV Installation
Quick overview of the role of the installer, explanation of common job titles and responsibilities in the industry, tips to remember when working on an AV jobsite, working with other trades, basic safety overview, and building the client relationship on the job.

Module 2: Cable Termination
Clear process steps for different ways to terminate cable, including compression, soldering, and crimping. Photos of good and bad examples help you evaluate skills.

Module 3: Cable Handling
The Cable Handling Module is provided FREE of charge. Learn about planning, preparation, procedures and techniques for pulling cable.

Module 4: Rack Building
Overview of the purpose of racks and rack design. Learn how to use a rack elevation diagram. Clear explanations of rack hardware and accessories, thermal issues, rack assembly, and rack wiring.
